KEY PERSONNEL

Dr. Penelope Price/ Executive Producer, Writer, Director

Dr. Price holds a B.S. in Comparative Politics and a Ph.D. in Literature from Arizona State University.   She has 20 years of experience in writing, directing, and producing independent films screened nationally and internationally.   Her most recent film, Pasa Un Angel , screened at the Chicago Latino Film Festival in April 2000, won the Golden Spire Award at the San Francisco International Film and Video Festival in May 2000, and screened at the Margaret Mead Festival in New York in November 2000.   Dr. Price developed the Motion Picture/Television Program at Scottsdale Community College and currently teaches Advanced Motion Picture Production and Documentaries for Social Change at Scottsdale Community College.

Luis Bohorquez / Producer, Director of Photography

Mr. Bohorquez was born in Colombia, immigrated with his family to the US when he was 3 years old, and grew up in Los Angles. He has over 15 years of experience as a TV producer and director of photography for commercial productions in both Los Angeles and Phoenix for Transatlantic Pictures, the Univision affiliate in Los Angeles, and is currently the Commercial Producer for the Phoenix NBC affiliate, KPNX / Channel 12.  Mr. Bohorquez holds a B.F.A. in Film from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.  Additionally, Mr. Bohorquez has a background in academia, having taught various practical and theoretical classes at Scottsdale Community College over the past 7 years.

Linda Brown / Associate Producer  

Ms. Brown has twelve years experience working with the Discovery Channel in various capacities including Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Programming, and Executive Producer for Discovery's K-12 series including "Assignment Discovery, "TCL Elementary School, "Teacher TV," and "School Stories."

Rodolfo Madero/ Composer

Mr. Madero holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad del Noroeste in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.   He has 13 years of experience in music production and graphic design, including a position as Creative Department Manager at Artevision and Creative Director at Imagina Publicidad.   He is currently the Director/President of Producciones Eureka , with branches in both Hermosillo, Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona. Eureka is considered to be the number one audio production company in Northwest Mexico.   Their clients include Alphagraphics, Blockbuster Video, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Motorola, Telemex, the Arizona Republic newspaper, APS, and many others.   In 1992, Eureka Productions won the March of Dimes Award for the best Spanish jingle production in Arizona for La Voz newspaper; and, received a Telly Award for a TV/Radio campaign for the Phoenix Zoo in 1993.

Jeff Stanley/ Editor

Mr. Stanley graduated from Arizona State University with a Visual Communications Degree in Media Design. For the past eight years, Mr. Stanley has been the owner of diMO Digital Motion, a graphics and animation company.   He has over 20 years of experience in the media graphics and design field.   His clients include design and production companies, as well as media departments within large corporations. His work entails high-end computer animation and graphics for independent producers, production companies and advertising agencies locally, nationally and internationally.   Mr. Stanley has 14 Telley awards to his credit, as well as numerous additional awards.   In addition to operating his media company, he teaches Compositing and Animation Effects at Scottsdale Community College.
